Below you’ll find links to a series of published research papers on bipolar disorder in children and on Fear of Harm. These articles have all been published in reputable peer-reviewed journals and they outline the development of diagnostic tools for bipolar disorder, as well as the discovery of Fear of Harm and its known treatments.

This packet is a companion to CMHRC’s materials outlining the diagnosis of Thermoregulatory Sleep Dysregulation Disorder (TSDD), which is also commonly referred to as “FOH”. The included research papers have all been cited in CMHRC’s review of current literature on bipolar disorder and TSDD/FOH (which will be available soon).
Each paper can be found online and accessed for free by the general public. The copyrights belong wholly to the authors and the publications in which they were originally published. CMHRC makes no claim of ownership or authorship.
CMHRC does not charge any fee for access to these research papers. They are collected here only as a convenience as they are all cited in our summary packet on the TSDD/FOH diagnosis.
